Who are the people behind Janoos?
Janoos is a service of Uconomix Technologies Private Limited which is headquartered in India. Janoos.com is meant to help people reach their favorite destinations on the Internet with just a single click. We at Janoos strive hard to make it "the place" from where you start your journey on the World Wide Web.
What's up with the name "Janoos"?
Well the name Janoos is derived from the Roman God Janus. Janus is the God of doorways and passages. Janus is the god of beginnings and endings. The month of January, derived from him signifies the fact that things begin with Janus. It gels well with our idea of providing our users with a starting point on the Internet. Like Janus we want to provide a doorway to the Internet.
So why Janoos and not Janus?
Simply because we preferred Janoos (with double O) over Janus and anyway janus.com was not available! And also because it's unique. We liked it so we kept it.
